Henry Riley was formed in 1890 as a quantity surveying practice. With over 115 years’ experience we have since diversified in cost, project and management services to become one of the UK’s leading construction consultancies.
We have over 100 construction professionals with offices nationwide in Bolton, Bristol, Cambridge, Croydon (Head Office), London, Newcastle upon Tyne, Hamilton, Peterborough and Reading.

INVESTING IN OUR STAFF
We ensure staff are proactive and responsive to the needs of our Clients. We do this by recruiting a high calibre of staff and providing them with a structured training plan which is bespoke to our Clients’ needs. In recognition of this we were one of the first surveying practices to receive the Investors in People accreditation in 1999. Furthermore we were also awarded with Best Training Initiative Award at the 2008 QS Awards.

We are driven by our Clients’ business and construction objectives. As a benefit of being a medium sized organisation our systems are not rigid giving us the flexibility to provide bespoke solutions to suit our Clients’ needs.
CLIENT SATISFACTION
In addition to our clients’ key performance indicators, we continually measure our performance using a range of metrics, including client care surveys, project auditing and post project de-briefs. In recognition of this we were accredited to ISO 9001:2008 in June 2009.
